crazed god-lovers scare me. not the kind that believe in god, but the kind that believe in god and then tell you that they're better than you and that you're gonna go to hell just because you dont. yeah pal, very open-minded and "i love everyone" there. and you know what?? if god really loved me he wouldn't send me to hell for not believing in him so THERE and don't bother trying to change my mind cuz your comments will just be deleted, thank you and have a nice night.

oh helllllllls no.. wdf.. ok, if god loves all his children unconditionally, how can he bear to see his children suffer in hell? yeah, if you're a parent and your kid is bad you scold them [[ or if you're asian, you whip out the feather duster. ]], but you don't send them off to some place where you would burn to death if it wasn't for the fact that you were already dead.

"don't judge!" and "be open-minded!" and "love everyone!" and then it's "you're homosexual? oh, don't care if it can't be helped, you're going on my To Hell list!" who WANTS to be "abnormal"? who WANTS to be the one that gets discriminated against, the one that everyone else looks at differently, the one that other people are afraid to be near when they're changing in the locker rooms for gym?? it's not like it's a CHOICE for you to choose between being gay and being straight. so much for don't judge.
and the whole buddha thing.. first off, buddhism was a religion that millions of people followed before christianity was even conceived of so YEAH. second.. ok, you have a kid and she calls someone else mommy instead of you. yeah, you'd be upset and you'd be sad, and you might be jealous of the other person -- but would you send that kid of yours, who you LOVE SO MUCH off to hell so that they could suffer with NO CHANCE of redemption?? what kind of loving parent are you??? how can this be accepted when in real life, if you were to torture your kid and burn them and stuff, it's completely UNACCEPTABLE and you'd be called a sick bastard with a diseased mind that needs to be checked into the local mental hospital ASAP??? WDFFFFFFF..
and another thing about the jealous god.. i thought god was perfect? i thought god was above human traits? i thought god was above pettiness and loved unconditionally??? well PERFECTION doesn't equal jealous and anger and DISCRIMINATE against people who can't help who they are!!

yes, Christians believe that GOd loves everyone but we also have read in the bible that the reason why we are on this earth is for a purpose and that purpose is to praise, love and serve God. The ones who DO fulfill his purpose are the ones who will go to heaven becuase they deserve it. Heaven is holy and meant for only holy people. Right now, as people on earth no one, not even the christians, are holy enough to be there. yet. if everyone would juss be going to heaven, it really wouldnt be holy and there would be no point in a heaven. If we all are juss gonna go to heaven, why is there an earth? why not juss stay on earth if its gonna be the same thing?

thanks for ur comments.. it takes a lot of faith to believe in evolution. that's why i think the school needs to teach both creation and evolution and let the students decide. it's my opinion. i guess in your judgement i come off as narrow-minded. do u think having an opinion is being narrow-minded? just because someone doesn't believe in evolution does not make them narrow-minded, but the person who doesn't ration in their head that this someone could possibly know much about evolution, just might be "narrow-minded". I do not refuse to accept. i've learned into it and saw the flaws and improbability of it. I have accepted evolution in the past.. but that was before I knew much about it. (because evolution seems to make sense like as if it's common sense) but after I learned that abiogenesis is NOT likely to happen in billions of years, that is when i decided not to accept it. you also said " i don't know much about christianity. i know the basic principles though" .. so I posted some stuff about Christianity today on my blog.. I wrote it so that maybe people who are curious would read it.. that is if they want to open their horizons and be a little more open-minded than they already are.. you do not have to agree with it.. i'm sorry it's true that Christians believe that only those who accept Jesus will go to heaven, but NO Christian would want you or anybody to "burn in hell".. that's ridiculous.. because of our beliefs, we WANT everyone to go to heaven and that's why we share what we know with the world.. if you don't believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven, then you don't have to accept what we believe.. then in your reality you can just think that we're crazy and that we are extremely sad that we don't think you will come to heaven with us.. the fact that you're angry that you think Christians are telling you to go to hell.. makes me wonder if a part of you is scared that what we say might be true.. otherwise i would think that you wouldn't be angry but pitying the crazy Jesus lovers like me.. and finally.. in my heart.. it would make me sooooo happy if you accepted Jesus.. again, no one is calling you narrow-minded because you have an opinion but because you refuse to listen to other's opinions. no one is calling you narrow-minded because you believe in creation but because you are stubborn in thinking that you are always right. yes, you used God's word as quotes in all of your arguments but you also said to ridley that "we know we can't read the Bible literally.. because then we'd be chopping off our body parts" no one is asking you to stop having faith and stop believing in creation. people just want you to see their point of view. that is it. but instead you bite off everyone's head and assuming things about them. you took it to a personal level attacking not only your friends but their lifestyles and integrity. the impression you give everyone else is that you know it all. and that the rest of us know diddly squat. that may be true on my part but i know for a fact that stevie did RESEARCH before he commented. you attacked ridley and how it wasn't possible that he found God. just because you SAID so. you assumed that tiffany didn't know anything about religion when in actuality she went to a catholic jhs. you told everyone that didn't agree with you that they were flat out wrong.
the bottom line is that this issue will never be resolved. there is no point arguing about it. there is no winner and there is no loser. both evolution and creation are theories. they are both flawed in some way. debating about it is not going to help anyone. it will only bring on anger and resentment from everyone. and it has already created a war within the xanga community.

haha.. [same name] anyways. like i said. if one does not believe in Christianity then it shouldn't matter what the one who does believe in it has to say. Catholic school is very ritualistic and one does not have to be Catholic to attend. I've spoken to Ridley about what he thinks of the Bible [esp last year on the gagnon] and to my recollection You were not in the conversation.

sorry for talking to stevie and jenn thru this. um. you're belittling my beliefs in God. if you don't believe in Christianity then why are you say that our God is messed up? you're judging Him. my family is Buddhist so I would know that Buddha was a prince who did NOT want people to worship him the way they do today. And God forgives everyone because He loves everyone. To Him we're like a bunch of ants. Whether you want an ant to come live with you in your house is up to you and you get to judge which ants are worthy. Frankly, I would not let any ant come "live" in my house. but God is letting us come live with Him in his Kingdom because He loves us.

your "shi di" [[on their site, they say that is the original god]] is the silk radical. as in, the part that they use to make up other words. and another thing. for chinese characters, each character is one syllable. so i don't know how it's possible, even if it WAS a real word, for it to be shi di. which is TWO syllables, which means TWO words.

hey.. ima christian and i guess you have some points. but on the judging part, i think its one of the most misunderstood parts of the bible. if you read more into the passage it says : "for you will be judged in the same way" so its not saying not to judge its saying dont judge other people and do the same thing, which is kind of the same definition as a hypocrite. im not saying its great to go judge everyone you see or anything and im not offending your religion or anything but i just wanna point that out kus it kinda bothers me. well i'll give you props for the nice site.
